Stars

Snap,
cabin warmth removed instantaneously.
Skin,
hands merge, like knitted mittens.
Shuffle,
leaves breaking acres' silence.
Subtly,
trees' limbs unfold the clearing of cat-tails.
Spinning,
carousel upward glances at streaks of white.
Slipping,
laughing in hidden cushioned enclosure.
Surrender,
warm enough to open an iris wide.
Stars,
so clear yet they blend together in your tears.
Silence,
never this happy again.
